Scaling a global identity for R&D Digital Days across 22 locations

Challenge

Uniting 22 locations through one digital experience

Nestlé R&D was launching Digital Days across 22 global locations to showcase digital innovation, AI, and data capabilities. The challenge was to create a cohesive identity system that local teams could easily adopt while ensuring every event felt like part of one global initiative rather than a standalone training day.

Insight

Consistency builds engagement

A shared visual language would help connect events across locations while giving local teams the flexibility to tailor communications to their audiences. By creating simple, reusable assets, the initiative could achieve both global consistency and local ownership.

Solution

A scalable event identity system

We refined the existing R&D Digital Days logo and developed a complete visual identity system, including brand guidelines, presentation templates, communication assets, and promotional materials for digital and print channels.

To support adoption across global sites, we created editable templates, branded merchandise concepts, and a walkthrough video demonstrating how to apply the identity consistently. We also introduced DD, a distinctive AI-inspired mascot designed to personify the programme and provide a recognisable visual thread across communications – helping make Digital Days more engaging, memorable, and instantly identifiable while maintaining a professional, research-focused aesthetic.

Impact

One identity, global activation

The new identity equipped R&D teams with a practical toolkit for delivering a consistent Digital Days experience across 22 locations.

By combining a refined visual language with easy-to-use templates and implementation guidance, the project strengthened brand consistency, simplified local execution, and reinforced Digital Days as a global platform for innovation and collaboration.
